DotScope mini 3D

DotScope mini 3D: A new price/performance class in mobile 3D microscopy

With the DotScope mini 3D you can easily make 3D views and measurements microscopically smaller create structures. The application is very simple: Bring the device to the desired position, move to the surface or the top position and then just click on the measuring button. The microscope adjusts the lighting, takes pictures of different focal planes and the connected PC creates a 3D model from them. The surface is automatically detected and the 3D model is aligned to this surface. The grid is also determined fully automatically. A typical measurement takes only 15...20 seconds. Fast image acquisition reduces the influence of external vibrations on the measurement result.

Control buttons and focus knob on DotScope mini

The DotScope mini has control buttons and a rotary knob for focusing directly on the device. With the focusing knob you can set the focus very quickly and precisely, just as you are used to with a manual microscope. You can use the control buttons to control functions such as starting a measurement, saving a measurement, displaying the live image and resetting the stepper motor position display. These functions are particularly useful when a large number of measurements have to be carried out or when a depth needs to be determined very quickly. This allows the software to be operated remotely, ie you can remain on the device.

Integrated xy adjustment

The DotScope mini has an xy adjustment, which means that details of a printing form to be examined can be approached with pinpoint accuracy.

Objective turret for quickly changing the magnification

The lens turret with the three different lenses allows you to quickly search for individual dots in your printing form. The 5 lens provides an overview, the other lenses provide the accuracy in the measurement.

Mobility at the highest level

The DotScope is compact, light and robust, can be carried along with a notebook can also be transported to the printing cylinder with one hand. Since the DotScope only requires a USB connection, a high degree of mobility is achieved. In combination with a notebook, the low power consumption means that it can be used independently of the mains for several hours.
